Retirement

This is the end of my CPA chapter, and the beginning of my new chapter in life.

You may know me as Whats Up11, or Captain 11, or Agent 11. I’ve gone by all of these names at some point in my army career.

Starting in 2012, I never thought I would be in this CP army thing this long, but here we are in 2020, finally deciding to retire. 8 years, 5 excluding the 3 years I wasn’t doing armies (2016-end of 2019) I’ve been involved in this community, doing whatever I can to contribute to army sizes. Back then, it was mostly about fueling my ego and getting the biggest army sizes to flex; however, nowadays, I’ve come to realize it’s about more than just padding your ego or getting good sizes. Truly, it’s about the friendships & the bonds you make with the people.

In such an unlikely place, a damn club penguin army community is the last place I thought I’d meet some of the most loyal and best people I know. From the likes of the best friends anyone could have, Madhav & Orange, or people such as Regan, Ben, Flamez, Alex, Quinn, Fusion, Bex, etc… these are the kinds of friends everyone needs, I was just lucky to find them. To all leaders and troops, value the bonds you make above everything else. Trust me. There’s nothing more valuable than a friend or a group of friends you can always rely on and have a good laugh with.

But with that in mind, friends also do come and go on here just as they do in real life. There’s so many friends that I’ve lost and gained over the years, and so with every friend I lose there’s always a lesson to be learned from it. There’s also lessons to be learned with friends you gain as well. They teach you things, they help you become better people (sometimes LOL). But, ultimately, if you find the right ones, you will know. You’ll be able to tell by their loyalty, their compassion, their care for your well being, and by many other factors that you yourself can decide on.

I’ve had many downs and many ups, but for some reason back then in 2013, I remember them speaking about me having potential or something along the lines of that. I said and did things I regret back in 2013/14 (such as defacing a couple armies), but one thing I don’t regret is the experiences and friendships I’ve gained from those times, AKA my friends Regan, Madhav, & Orange (main ones).

One army I do remember that is not really notable is my time in AR (very unfortunate). I was in AR under the leadership of Vindaily, where I became 3ic by constantly harassing Vinny, then I left.

I remember leading Golds with the “golden squad” (Andrew24, Flamez, Final Chaser, etc) as we would like to call it, and that’s what really jump started my career. Although I army hopped a lot and don’t remember much as a result, one battle I do remember is the tournament battle vs. the Army of Club Penguin, where we defeated them with a max of 35. Although those sizes seem like nothing now for a major army, those were really good sizes to get back then, so even to this day it’s one of my proudest moments.

To move on to the next chapter in my army life, I joined the Dark Warriors. The timeline with that is also a forgotten memory, but yet again, there is a moment in the Dark Warriors I do remember: the first event after Unk & I couped Elmikey from the Dark Warriors. In this event, we maxed 40+ as a show of our strength without Elmikey, and it was one of my best moments yet again. Agent Vo 11.

With those armies in mind, I’ve also led the Doritos multiple times. In 2015, I hopped between DW and DCP for leadership positions for reasons I do not remember; however, my posts still remain on their site. Here are some pictures from when I led:

Though, yes, I did lead DCP, it’s still one of my biggest regrets to this day. After 2015, I ended up becoming inactive and stopped coming online since I was in the middle of moving and transitioning into a new school, thus I got off CP Armies until the end of 2019, where I attended IW’s 2nd event since coming back, and also the Christmas Chaos Finals between the Dark Warriors, Aliens, & Doritos. What an amazing battle that was. That battle and along with IW’s hatred for DCP started instilling a hatred for DCP within me, and eventually I decided to officially rejoin armies by joining IW under the leadership of Andrew24 and Ghost.

Dark Warriors vs. Doritos vs. Aliens, Christmas Chaos Finals 2019

After this, DW, Templars, & IW declared war on the Doritos, forming the famously known TWA (The Warrior Alliance); however, after this, I disappeared for a month. When I came back, IW was on its way to being shut down, and the leadership and I decided to move on to try and attempt the Ninjas; however, there were complications with the army and the website, so we decided to officially bring back the Pirates.

This time, I was leading the Pirates with Freezie66 & Andrew24. For me at the time, this was the dream trio. We were gonna take down the Doritos with the Pirates once and for all; however, things as they always did with DCP got complicated. Eventually Drew & I brought Bay into the leadership as Freezie was on his way out. In my time in the Pirates, we won a tournament vs. the Templars.

During my time in Pirates, the Ice Warriors were also revived by Ben, Doggorage, & Firestar. By the beginning of March, I made my return to the Ice Warriors. Little did I know, this generation would be the greatest in IW history (in terms of size). As it was in the revival of IW in late 2019, what drove us was war with DCP… and war we certainly brought to them.

Invasion of the city of Shiver (Fjord), March 17th, 2020. Max: 65

Invasion of Fjord (full), March 21st, 2020. Max: 80

Re-Invasion of Fjord (full) (successful), March 23rd, 2020. Max: 110

Invasion of Great White (Tundra), March 25th, 2020. Max: 100

Invasion of Ice Age [Tundra], March 27th, 2020. Max: 90

Tournament Battle vs. Instrumentalists, March 29th, 2020. Max: 90

Invasion of Tundra [Full], March 31st, 2020. Max: 90

Invasion of Crunch [Mammoth], April 3rd, 2020. Max: 130

For this next one, there was a small break in invasions to battle the Doritos in the March Madness battle, & unfortunately Epic101 rigged this in favor of DCP; however, we held the greatest numbers of any army in history. 165.

Tournament Battle vs. DCP, April 5th, 2020. 2 day notice with a max of 165.

Lockouts in the tournament battle vs. DCP.

After this battle, where we gained sizes like no other army, we continued our invasions on DCP.

Invasion Of Mammoth [FULL], April 7th, 2020. Max: 128

Defense of Brumby [Tuxedo] [Successful], April 12th, 2020. Max: 135

After all this, DCP started pulling dumb tricks, and we decided we didn’t want to deal with their bs anymore, and just gave away our servers and started rebuilding. There was a long period of nothing, until eventually CPO shut down, and we had to find a new home.

We eventually decided to refuge in CPA:TG (CP Armies: The Game). In our first event on CPA:TG, we took on RPF and DCP in a 3-way practice battle. RPF won, but it was a strong statement by us. For the next event, we held a practice battle against RPF, & defeated RPF in a shocking upset. Eventually, a lot of drama went down in IW, and my friends & i moved to Pirates, but came back after our demands were met.

From this point, we started building back up and in our first event since everything settled, the 1st round of the Legends Cup vs. Sky Troops, we were right back on track. Mine and the other leaders’ focus were on winning the Legends Cup.

Legends Cup 1st Round vs. Sky Troops, June 1st, 2020. Max: 67

As the days kept progressing, we started building more and more so we can grow to match RPF’s size for when we faced them. The next pivotal moment for me was the Legends Cup battle vs. ACP. For many reasons, and for all the trash talking ACP was doing, this one was a very important battle to win for me, as it also was reminding me of my time in Golds when I faced ACP in that tournament battle. It was like my career came full circle, facing ACP again in a battle.

However, before we get to this tournament battle, we held a Flamez Golden Mop Event where we maxed a whopping 101. This was a pivotal moment for me and for IW because our progress was showing.

Anyways, on to the tournament battle. This battle vs. ACP was the 2nd most massive battle in the Legends Cup (the 1st you’ll hear about soon). Madhav & I prepared hard for this battle, thinking up word tactics and thinking of specific tactics to do at certain moments… everything. We wanted to stomp ACP so bad. Although we didn’t stomp them, we did defeat them. I’ve never been more satisfied.

Tournament Battle vs. ACP, June 14th, 2020. Max: 120

After winning this battle, we had to prepare for our toughest opponent yet: RPF. We had to hype the hell out of this event, and even pulled an Avengers theme to try and motivate our troops even more. RPF maxed a whopping 155, while we maxed around 110. Despite this massive size difference, though, we pushed RPF to 2OT. But, we lost. However, we were still proud of this loss, because we pushed an army who was maxing 40 more than us to 2OT. That goes to show that pre-battle doesn’t matter, only who gets into the room first (as long as both armies are above 50-60 troops).

To this day, my proudest moment was definitely the tournament battle vs. DCP, or the tournament final vs. Templars, where we humbled Xing. The battle vs. ACP is a close 3rd.

tl;dr: I’ve been in this community for too long lmao

Personal Thank You’s:

Disclaimer: A note to anyone who is not on this list: I have not forgotten about you. I will write you a personal thank you elsewhere, don’t be offended you’re not on this post’s list. These are the people I’ve grown the closest to over the years.

Madhav – You should’ve expected to be first on this list because ladies first. Where do I even start? You came back in early March by surprise. I remember getting a dm from someone named “Stopy” and I was like “who tf is Stopy”, then I saw your nickname on top next to your name, & I recall being excited because it was yet another old friend/vet I could actually talk to about my previous army history; however, did I expect you to become the best friend I have today, or that we would help each other through our many problems (personally and army wise)? Not exactly. It’s crazy for me to think about how we were friends literally from the beginning with the Storm Warriors and Rookies, and how far we’ve come together. It’s incredible we went from maxing, what, 2-5? To 120. We’ve come so far together, and I would do anything for you, as you would for me. We’ve had so many funny moments, with and without others. From all the insults and comebacks you’ve had against me, to the times we vibed on CPO, to all the time we’ve led together, I wouldn’t take back a single moment. You’re the most loyal friend I’ve met on here, and anyone who is close to you is lucky to be close to you. I know how you are with protecting your friends, and how blunt you are. It’s hilarious. I know I’ve been basically AWOL, but I’m really proud to see all you’re doing and done and accomplished. You’re a great leader, the troops love you, you’re good at leading battles, and you have hilarious and good word tactics. We work so well together leading, we mesh well and work off each other. Sure, we sometimes overrule each other, but that’s always gonna happen. I’ve never seen a better duo tbh, we work off each other so well and always challenge each other, and work well during battle. It’s a dream duo imo. But, we built our friendship not just off army stuff, but even personal shit. We are more than just army friends, and I’m grateful for that. You’re a great friend. If there’s one thing I wanna say, don’t stress too much about this stuff. Gain a new perspective. There’s bigger things to stress about in life than this. Thank you for everything buddy, I know we’ll keep in touch even when I’m not on Discord anymore. Our brotherhood will certainly live past just CPA, I know it.

The teamwork AAAAAAAA

And so many more. Love you bro.

Orange – Ah, Orange. We’ve known each other since 2012, and though I did forget a lot of our specific memories back then, I do remember how you were my good friend, and that means something because you left a mark on me, good memory or not. Our time in Chaos was one of may memories, with me couping Sapper, or you, Madhav & I at Chaos events together. When you brought back Chaos, I thought it was gonna be a small little comeback to have fun like you originally planned; however, you decided to basically come back to the community officially, even after Chaos died. You joined ACP, & although you did do that, Madhav & I knew it was a good idea to bring you to the army we lead, and so you did. I am so glad I am leaving with you and Madhav being in the same army as me, it’s as if things have come full circle man. You’re one of the coolest and funniest people I know, and I love how you’re someone I can talk to about NBA stuff, because there’s not many people like that. Although you’re a stinky Rockets fan, I will never regret our friendship. You’re a loyal and caring friend, and those are some of the best things a good friend could have. I’m also glad you & Madhav will be ending your careers in the same army eventually, whenever that is, so I’m happy to see us 3 coming back together for one final time. Although my time with you in this army was short, I will not forget or regret the experiences. Thank you for everything, Orange. I hope we can stay in touch even when I’m completely gone from CPA, you’re a really great person. Let’s go to a G-Eazy-Metal crossover concert sometime! October 29th, 2013.

Thank you to everyone else in my current friend group, I will write you a personal one on Discord. Fusion, Quinn, Alex, Barry, Bex. You all also show what real friendship is about. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

A message to the rest of the community: do not stress too much about this community. Trust me. I’ve done it. It’s nowhere near worth it. If you don’t want to listen to this message, you’ll see soon enough. But take it from me, do not stress about all of this, it is not worth it and it won’t be in the end. You might look at this and be like, “well OBVIOUSLY”, but there’s a lot more people who stress either lowkey or publicly about this than you think.

With that in mind, thank you all for all the memories and the ups & downs. May you find what makes you happy in life.

Godspeed, fellas.

Venimus Vidimus Vicimus,

We Burn the Light,

Don’t Freeze up,

Ice Warriors Forever.
